It started as four friends casually talking about how epic their spring break would be if they could make it all the way out to Utah. We never imagined that a few weeks later we would turn that dream into a reality. I wanted to share with you the highlights from our Utah National Parks Road Trip.
Everyone thought we were crazy to drive from Tallahassee, Fl. to Utah, and hey, maybe we were. But five thousand miles later we had driven through eight states, explored three national parks, and created countless memories. I was a little overwhelmed when I thought about tackling our trip in a blog post, so I decided to break it up. Starting with an introduction post followed by our planned trip schedule.
When we started planning the trip (with only two weeks till our start date, yikes) we quickly realized that we needed to prepare an itinerary that said more than “climbing and hiking.” Roadtrippers was a great resource to plan and calculate the details of our trip. It can help you with everything from local recommendations to gas estimates. The maps below were taken from our roadtrippers itinerary.
Somehow we were able to squeeze climbing, hiking, camping and exploring waterfalls & hot springs into eight days of adventure. There are too many things I want to write about each destination so until I make those posts I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures. It turns out when you have four people capturing a trip with their artistic perspective you end up with jaw-dropping photos but then again, any picture taken in Utah is already beautiful.
