Somehow, the end of another year is here and so is another season of gift giving. I love coming up with gifts for friends, family, and occasionally for myself so I thought I would share some ideas. Here is my 2018 Zero Waste Gift Ideas filled with products perfect for Etsy lovers, travelers, people with eco-friendly lifestyle’s, and more! I hope they give you some inspiration for the people that mean the most in your life.
HANDMADE
1. Dirt Chalk Bags
My good friend Julianne started Dirt Chalk Bags earlier this year and has already made over 200 sales! Her chalk bags and buckets are all handmade and feature artists custom designs.

2. The Art of Traveling
Some of you may not know that I’m a part-time artist. I’ve been the owner of a small business, The Art of Traveling, for the past three years. I’m so grateful for the friends, customers, and family that have chosen my artwork to add to their lives.
I paint anything and everything from special commission pieces to travel journals, ornaments, and more.
Free shipping on all ornaments and journals!
3. Westward and Woven
My good friend India has a passion for knitting which she recently turned into a business. She found herself needing cold-weather gear for outdoor adventures thus began Westward and Woven. She sells beanies, headbands, scarfs, and more!

4. Collapsible Metal Straw
Ditch the plastic straw! If you want to use less plastic but still enjoy drinking out of straw opt for a metal straw. Better yet, try a collapsible metal straw.
5. Bamboo Utensil Set
Never use plastic utensils again, instead, use a To-Go Ware Bamboo Utensil set. This set travels and cleans easily. It includes a knife, fork, spoon, and chopsticks!
6. Hydroflask
The best water bottle period. I currently have the 32oz and am buying the 21oz with a sports cap for my Dad for Christmas.

7. Key Chain Swiss Army Knife
One of my most used items on my keychain. This mini pocket knife gets used daily. It includes a nail file, knife, and scissors.
8. Massage
After traveling 24+ hours on my trip to Thailand, I discovered what a treat a massage is. For all of my Tallahassee friends, I see Maryanne at Ardan’s Salon and she is amazinggg. If you’re hesitant to spend money on such a self-care splurge, I recommend trying a 30-minute massage first!
9. Patagonia Duffel
This has been my go-to bag for most of my trips this year. I own the 45L and it’s a perfect carry-on size, whereas the 60L is better when you’re going to be checking your bag or want some extra room. The bag is water resistant and durable, which has already come in handy on road trips/climbing trips (or if you go to extreme places).
