I saved the best for last! My final 2019 holiday guide shares gift ideas for travel lovers. Over the years I’ve compiled a list of my favorite travel products, resources, and hacks that I covet. Like the neck-pillow that made me comfortable during a twenty-four-hour journey to Thailand. Or a flight subscription service that found me $550 flights to Toyko! So settle in, grab a mug of hot chocolate and prepare to find the perfect gift idea for the travel lover in your life.

Flight Subscription Service
Pomelo Travel is a flight subscription service that notifies you of flight deals. I’m talking about major ways to save $$$. There is a free subscription that I started with, but ultimately I upgraded to the premium subscription. Well, actually my sister got the subscription as a Christmas gift. It’s $40/yr, which you can’t beat! Each flight can save you anywhere from $300 – $1,000 so it’s well worth the investment.

Travel Planning Session
Planning can be the most stressful part of any trip. It doesn’t matter if you’re traveling for a weekend, a week, or a month. Researching, organizing and booking your vacation can take a lot of time and stress. This is where personal travel planning can help!
Give the gift of a personal travel guide. Each custom trip guide will go over itinerary options along with recommendations, tips, and advice customized to fit that person’s travel style.
Travel Neck Pillow
You know the feeling when you buy a family member a gift, but then you end up wanting one for yourself? This happened to me when I bought my dad the trtl neck pillow. I ended up stealing his so often that I finally bought my own last week.
Do yourself a favor and buy this travel pillow. Especially if you have trouble sleeping on planes, this thing will change your life. If you’re not a fan of the trtl style, try the huzi neck pillow. It’s my second pick!
Passport Holder
Avid travelers would love the gift of a passport cover. My sister Callie bought me a passport cover for my birthday, a couple of years ago and I love it. Here are a few of my current favorites.
Travel Yoga Mat
It can be difficult to find time to exercise while traveling. Especially if the hotel or Airbnb you’re staying at doesn’t have gym equipment. That’s why gifting an avid traveler with a lightweight yoga mat is an amazing idea. Two of my favorite travel yoga mats are the Manduka Pro Travel Yoga Mat and this Cork Mat.
You can read more about my favorite yoga mats in the post, The Best Yoga Mats Recommended by Instructors.
Travel-Sized Skincare
I talked about Cocokind skincare in my Self-Care Gift Guide but it’s worth mentioning again. They have a 10-day trial kit where you can test all of their products. It also doubles as a travel size skincare kit! When you run out of these samples make sure to refill the bottles and use them on your next trip.
Reusable Water Bottle
A reusable water bottle is a MUST HAVE while traveling.
While I still love my hydro flask, I also recently purchased this collapsible bottle to use on the go. It would also be great for a carry-on, or anywhere else you need a water bottle but don’t have much room to carry one.
By the way, if you didn’t already know, I paint custom hydro flasks on my Etsy shop (shameless plug)! Let me know if you’re interested in having yours painted.
Toiletry Bag
My friend Julianne, over at Dirt Chalk Bags, makes the cutest toiletry bags. These pouches are designed by artists and then sewn by her! I use my pouch to organize all of my mini toiletries when traveling.
If you didn’t already think they are a great gift idea, get this, they’re budget-friendly! You can snag one of these babies for $7 – $15.
